Dear Colleagues,

There is no doubt that polymer materials are really part of our daily life and without them around, this world would be totally different. Now, polymers are well recognized from simple plastic bag into very complex and sophisticated materials and application such as for artificial muscles or blood vessels, fuel cell   membranes in producing the electricity, reinforced materials in space shuttle, etc. Seeing as polymer materials have been integrated in and truly influencing in human life for better future, it follows that research, development and innovation in synthesizing, modifying or functionalizing polymer materials from nanometer scale level are progressively amplified around the world.

Meanwhile, the demand for energy has been expanding rapidly as it can’t be separated from the human life. The majority of the energy depends on the fossil fuel and it used naturally as electricity power and heat in daily life. Many countries and companies have invested heavily on extensive research and development programs in recent years devoted to developing new alternative and renewable energy sources.Hydrogen energy and fuel cells are the most promising green and clean alternative energy sources and energy conversion device respectively for the future because they have low or zero emission and environmental friendly. Therefore, demand for hydrogen and fuel cell systems has increased as the cost of the technologies has come down and awareness of their economic and environmental benefits has increased.

Realizing the fast development of polymer materials as well as fuel cell and hydrogen technology, in order to get idea about the current status of polymer material, fuel cell and hydrogen technology development, Indonesian Polymer Association (HPI) and Indonesian Association for Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Energy (INAFHE) would like to hold the coming IPST 2019 and 7th ICFCHT meeting on October 16 – 19, 2019 in Legian, Bali, Indonesia.

We are collaborating with other local associations, research groups and consortiums and covering   the topics in Fibrous, Nanostructure Polymers, Blends and Composites, Polymer Technology in New and Renewable Energy, Smart and Functionalized Polymers, Advanced Synthesis Polymers, Green and Sustainable Bio-polymer, Environmental Technology and Monitoring, Rubber Technology for the International Conference on IPST 2019 and Polymer Technology and Renewable Energy, Hydrogen and Fuel Cell –Various,  Solid Oxide Fuel Cell and  Materials and Others for the topics of   7th ICFCHT. Those topics will entirely cover the current emerging issues in trends of polymer science, fuel cell and hydrogen technology.

Bali is an Indonesian island known for its forested volcanic mountains, iconic rice paddies, beaches, and coral reefs. The island is home to religious sites such as cliff side Uluwatu Temple. Bali is a very worthwhile place to be visited and hosting IPST2019.

The Conference is anticipating around 300 participants around the globe and it will provoke Plenary Sessions, Keynote Speech, Poster and Oral Presentations.

We look forward to meeting you in Bali, INDONESIA.
